Kangaroos are native to Australia, but you don't have to travel all around the world to see them.

Colorado is home to a slew of urban areas and farm life -- we've got an alligator farm and, apparently, a kangaroo farm.

This hidden gem in Golden is called Zoo Chateau, and it's home to more animals than just the joeys -- there are horses, a zonkey or two (a hybrid between a donkey and a zebra), and much more.

It's a one-of-a-kind experience you won't be able to find anywhere else in Colorado!

Plus, you can rent out the entire private zoo for a night ($350 per night) for you and up to nine of your closest friends, and become a zookeeper during your stay! With four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a giant-sized chessboard, and more, the chateau will provide the privacy and seclusion you seek while giving you the opportunity to interact and learn about the various animals who call the property home.

But, if you'd rather not stay overnight (not sure why you wouldn't want to, especially at that price), you can simply make a reservation to visit the animals -- including the "Kangaroo Experience," which is essentially an excuse to take pictures with and feed the kangaroos for an hour. It's listed at $45 per person, according to the Zoo Chateau website.

For any and all experiences at the Zoo Chateau, a reservation must be made. Click here to book your next adventure!
