1. Make some room.

2. Upgrade your towels.

Let's face it—we've all got those scraggly towels that have seen better days. Splurge on something as simple as a luxurious bath sheet or a matching set of plush towels to refresh the whole room. Look for natural materials, like Turkish cotton.

4. Add an artistic touch.

Coated canvases are great for displaying in bathrooms because they don't have any glass to get fogged up or spotty. Find two or three that complement each other and add instant interest to a blank wall.

5. Plant a pothos.
