Demolition Derby
More than 100 drivers will participate in the derby on July 4, which is a favorite at the Stampede (for obvious reasons). There are several classes of cars that will be featured at the derby: limited weld cars, full weld cars, limited weld compacts, full weld trucks, and motorhomes.

This year's derby also includes a Kids Division, where your kiddos can get in on the action! In tricked out, battery-operated vehicles, kids (ages 3-8) can test their skills in the
Mini Bashers Heat. The goal: to pop the balloons on the front and rear of your opponents' cars.

Start your little ones off young at the Kids Rodeo on June 24! There are four different events that are available for children of all ages, with prizes going to some of the bravest cowboys and cowgirls at the Stampede.
Stick Pony Events -- Kids are given a stick horse and then tasked with riding their pony as fast as possible to the finish line.
Mutton Bustin' -- While relatively new, this event is a fun one to watch. Little cowboys and cowgirls hop on the back of a sheep and hold on for dear life.
Junior Timed Events -- Same as the adult timed events, like barrel-racing, pole-bending, flag-racing, and goat-tying.
Junior Rough Stock -- Mini versions of the adult rough stock events, with kids participating in calf or steer riding events.
