Five of Colorado's own craft brewing companies ranked in the Brewers Association's top 50 for best-selling brewers in 2017.

Boulder's nonprofit trade group, the Brewers Association, has released its annual list of the craft breweries in the country, all based on beer sales volume. And not surprisingly, five of Colorado's craft brewing companies have cracked the top 50.
"In an increasingly competitive and mature marketplace, these brewing companies continue to lead and pave the path for small independent craft brewers," said Bart Watson, chief economist at Brewers Association, said in a statement.
Two Colorado craft breweries made it into the top 10, Fort Collins' New Belgium ranking at No. 4 and Longmont's CANarchy -- formerly known as Oskar Blues -- at No. 9. Fort Collins' other craft brewery Odell Brewing Co. came in at No. 22, followed by Left Hand Brewing Company in Longmont (No. 44) and Boulder-based Avery Brewing Co. (No. 50). Yuengling & Son Inc. (PA), Boston Beer Co. (MA), and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. (CA) took the top three slots,  the same ranks as 2016. You can view the Brewers Association's full list HERE. What do you think?
