The cult fast-food chain has plans to open its Colorado Springs location in late 2020.

It seems like an eternity since we first learned that California-based burger chain In-N-Out was coming to Colorado (one year, to be exact). We've been waiting with grumbly bellies and bated breath for the arrival of the fast-food chain ever since, and when news broke earlier this year that are tentative plans to open nearly 50 restaurants in Colorado, the anticipation only got worse.

And now that we've learned when In-N-Out's first Colorado location will be opening its doors, we've become increasingly impatient.

As first reported by The Gazette, the California-based burger chain hopes to open its first Colorado location in late 2020.

Opening in Colorado Springs, there are also plans to construct a nearly 100,000-square-foot distribution center and a 150,000-square-foot office building.

"All of our focus at this time is on the plans for two initial projects in Colorado Springs: A distribution center and hamburger patty production facility that has to be open and operating prior to the first store opening in Colorado, and an office building to follow," Carl Arena, In-N-Out vice president of real estate and development, told The Gazette.

"We are very much looking forward to that day, and we appreciate our customers in Colorado that have shared their anticipation with us as well," Arena added.

So, what do you think? Does knowing the opening date make the wait that much worse? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
