Kevin Clark, best known for his appearance as Freddy Jones in School of Rock alongside Jack Black, has died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike in Chicago. Clark was on his way home when he was killed, his sister said. He was 32.

According to the Chicago Fire Department and the Cook County medical examiner office, Clark was hit by a 20-year-old woman driving a Hyundai Sonata around 1:20 a.m. When paramedics found him, they rushed him to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:04 a.m.

The driver of the car that hit him was issued citations, police said.

Clark stopped acting after School of Rock, but continued to pursue his music.
