Award season is in full swing, and the Oscar nominees are here! From groundbreaking directors and awe-inspiring performances to incredibly captivating stories and stunning visuals, the competition is tough. As the Oscar buzz continues, let's dive in and take a closer look at the talented contenders vying for those coveted gold statuettes.
The 2024 Oscars will take place on March 10 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The ceremonies will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
Before we dive into the nominees, we wanted to quickly highlight some of the biggest Oscar snubs this year, including Margot Robbie not being nominated for Best Actress for her titular role as Barbie, Greta Gerwig not receiving Best Director for Barbie, and Leonardo DiCaprio not receiving a Best Actor nom for Killers of the Flower Moon.
Despite our disappointment in not seeing Robbie, Gerwig, DiCaprio, and several other prominent actors and actresses not nominated, we are excited for those who are! Oppenheimer leads the pack with 13 nominations! So let's see who is vying for an Oscar this year, shall we?
