2 firework shows will light up the Denver skyline this New Year's Eve.

If you've missed the epic fireworks displays that takeover downtown Denver in celebration of the New Year, you're not alone. After being canceled in 2020, the sky will once again be lit up this New Year's Eve with two firework shows.

The firework shows will begin at 9 p.m. and midnight to ring in 2022 along the mall.

Both shows will be the exact same; the fireworks will be synced to a music playlist from live DJs along 16th Street Mall and will last about 8 minutes each.

"Celebrate the new year with your family by checking out fireworks, blockbuster museum exhibitions such as Whistler to Cassatt: American Painters in France, stunning lights displays like Zoo Lights and art shows all over town," writes Denver.org.
