Grab your mask, boa, and beads because Mardi Gras is coming to Breckenridge on February 13!

Every year, people from all walks of life take over Breckenridge at the annual Mardi Gras party. Expect colorful characters, floats, and so much more at this family-friendly celebration! When: Fat Tuesday, February 13 | 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Where: Main Street, Breckenridge

Schedule of Events:

Mardi Gras Tailgate 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. | Main Street Station Plaza There's no better way to kick off the celebrations than at a tailgate party. Enjoy free music and Mardi Gras specials from local businesses and restaurants. Annual Mardi Gras Parade 4:30 p.m. | Main Street (100-400 Blocks of South Main Street) Watch as huge floats coast down Main Street for the annual parade, and make sure you're in place to catch any incoming beads. Click here to register for the parade, and don't forget to go over the rules prior to registering. Free Concert and Paulaner Salvator Festival 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Riverwalk Center Once the parade has concluded, head over to Riverwalk Center for a free concert by the Lowdown Brass Band and enjoy some spectacular food from local vendors. Plus, if you're 21 and older, then you can indulge in the Paulaner Salvator Festival where the beers are only $4. Be one of the first 100 people in the door and receive a free beer! It's important to note that due to open container laws in Breckenridge, it is illegal to consume alcoholic beverages in unlicensed, public locations. All alcoholic drinks must remain in private or permitted locations. Shuttle the Rockies will be offering free rides home from Riverwalk Center, from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Buses are on a first come, first serve basis and will run hourly.
