"Hello Kitty" fans have an opportunity to stock up on cafe cookies and their favorite accessories.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is coming to Maryland, and will be making three socially-distanced stops in March and April. The truck is a mobile cafe and retail store dedicated to Japan’s favorite cartoon character. Fans can visit the truck to get themed sweets and exclusive Hello Kitty products like pins, plush and t-shirts.

The first stop is in Bethesda on March 27, followed by stops in Columbia and White Marsh in April. Staff will be taking all the proper health and safety protocols and are requesting that guests stay home if they have a fever or cough.

Here are the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck appearances in Maryland this spring:

  • Bethesda
    • Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of Elm and Woodmont near Matchbox at Bethesda Row
  • Columbia
    • Saturday, April 3, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the courtyard near Maggiano’s at The Mall in Columbia
  • Baltimore
    • Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. near the Barnes & Noble at The Avenue at White Marsh

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be offering a bunch of new items, including an exclusive t-shirt, rainbow stainless Thermos, Hello Kitty Cafe cookie plush, and new decorated iced cookie sets. You can also get favorites like the bow-shaped water bottles, canvas totes, and the giant decorated cookie of Hello Kitty herself. Treats available on the truck include iced cookies, Madelines, macaroons, and mini cake cubes. View the menu here.

Guests must wear masks and follow socially distancing signs placed by the staff. Lines could be long, so come prepared and bring your credit card, cash is not accepted at the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck.
