Celebrate the written word at this literary extravaganza hosted by the nation's library.

This amazing annual event brings together readers and their favorite authors (RBG will be there!). If you plan your day right, you can hear countless presentations, meet dozens of authors, and even entertain your kids. What to Expect

There's so much to see and do at the festival, you'll want to take a look at the schedule and jot down some ideas before you go. Want to do something to encourage your kids to read more? They'll have three children's stages with presentations all day long. Longing to get your book signed? There are over 100 authors doing signings!

The convention center will be split into various sections, with a festival map available right at the entrance. You can also download it beforehand here. Enhanced security measures will be in place for the event, so be patient if there's a long line to enter. Consult the event schedule for must-see speakers; you're bound to get sidetracked once you enter the main hall.
