It's all about the show in the sky when it comes to a Baltimore Fourth of July. While parades are great and all, nothing gets people out like a good fireworks show.

There are two main options this year, in addition to smaller municipal displays: the Inner Harbor and Middle Branch Park. Here's what you need to know.

Ports America Chesapeake Fourth of July at the Inner Harbor

WHERE: Baltimore's Inner Harbor
WHEN: July 4, 2019 | 7 p.m. for musical performances | 9:30 p.m. for fireworks
RAIN DATE: July 5, 2019 at 9:30 p.m.

The Inner Harbor will be Independence Day Central next week! Start the evening off with music by the U.S. Navy Jazz Band Commodores and stay for the fireworks a couple of hours later. Take the time to wander the streets and sample some of Baltimore's famous seafood.

For prime viewing, you can buy tickets for the Top of the World Observation Level and watch the fireworks display from an incredible vantage point. Tickets will get you a catered meal, non-alcoholic beverages, a photo booth, DJ, and a panoramic view of the Baltimore skies. Otherwise, the best places to see the fireworks from street-level are along the Inner Harbor promenade and nearby neighborhoods.
