Double Feature is a weekly geek podcast by identical twin sisters Kaitlyn and Kristina. We’ll review movies and TV shows, talk all things cosplay, give our two cents on new products, and just nerd out, so expect a ton of inside jokes that only the two of us understand. "Crisis on Infinite Earths" Highlights:

We break down the first three episodes of The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover event, episode by episode. We start with the Supergirl Hour before diving into the Batwoman hour and The Flash hour. Highlights from each of the crossover's episodes can be found below:

Supergirl Hour – Part One:

  • The DCTV Universe is bigger than we originally thought. In the first episode of the five-part "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event, we see that DC Universe's Titans, Doom Patrol, and Swamp Thing are all included in this multi-verse.
  • Kara Zor-El (aka Supergirl) is about to lose everything ... again. Her world, Earth-38, is the next to be destroyed—the first was Earth-2, which was seen on a previous episode of Arrow a few weeks earlier.
  • We see all of the DCTV's heroes band together—The Flash, Green Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, and the Legends—to try and stop the Anti-Monitor before Earth-38 can be destroyed. However, this all fails and results in the "death" of Oliver Queen (aka Green Arrow).
  • With the help of Lena Luthor, they're able to save half the population of Supergirl's earth by creating a portal that leads to another parallel earth.
  • Overall, it was a solid start to the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover.

Batwoman Hour – Part Two:

  • In this second part of The CW's crossover, the heroes are in search of the final two "Paragons"—a collection of seven individuals who can defeat the Anti-Monitor, as stated by the Monitor. (List of Paragons can be found under The Flash Hour below.)
  • Meanwhile, Lex Luthor has taken the Book of Destiny to destroy every single version of Superman in the multi-verse. Which leads us to our next highlight ...
  • Two words: TOM WELLING. Smallville's Clark Kent makes a cameo appearance. We also get to see what life is like for Clark, and Lois, 10 years after the events of the final episode. We learn that he has given up his powers to have a family.
  • Two more words: BRANDON ROUTH. Reprising his role as Superman from Superman Returns, we see Kingdom Come Superman on Earth-96. We learn that this version of Superman is the Paragon of Truth.
  • Another big DC cameo takes place in this Batwoman hour, and it's that of Kevin Conroy. We see him as a broken-down, nearly crippled version of Bruce Wayne, who had killed his earth's Superman, but it left him completely immobile. Supergirl and Batwoman try to bring him back with them, as they believe he's the Paragon of Courage, but he's not the savior of Gotham as he once was.

 The Flash Hour – Part Three:

  • For The Flash hour, Barry and the team discover the cause of the anti-matter that's destroying all of the universes: Flash/Barry from Earth-90 (John Wesley Shipp) running on a treadmill that powers it. If left unpowered, the treadmill will self-destruct, killing all worlds with it.
  • Black Lightning joins the party and it's then realized that in order to stop the anti-matter, they have to reverse it. Earth-90 Flash sacrifices himself.
  • The Paragons include, thus far: Supergirl as the Paragon of Hope, White Canary as the Paragon of Destiny, Batwoman as the Paragon of Courage, Martian Manhunters as the Paragon of Honor, The Flash as the Paragon of Love, and Kingdom Come Superman as the Paragon of Truth. The only Paragon that remains is the Paragon of Humanity—this is soon revealed as Ryan Choi.
  • Then, in the final minutes, we see that the anti-matter is drawing near and in order to save everyone, the Paragons are transported to the Vanishing Point (from Legends of Tomorrow), which is a place that's located between space and time. The others are vaporized.
  • However, in a final blow, Lex Luthor is seen replacing Kingdom Come Superman as the Paragon of Truth after writing his name in the Book of Destiny.
