After months of waiting and more than 75,000 votes, the new voices for the DIA train have been named -- Kim Christiansen and Alan Roach.

The wait is finally over! Get ready to hear a new voice, and one familiar one, for Denver International Airport's "Train Call" announcements. On Wednesday, February 28, DIA announced the new voices -- 9NEWS' Kim Christiansen will be the female voice and Alan Roach, former Coors Field announcer, will continue to be the male voice. "The voices of the airport train have become a beloved part of the Denver International Airport experience over the last two decades," said Stacey Stegman, DEN's senior vice president of communications, marketing and customer service, said in a press release statement.
Stegman continued, "We are delighted that more than 75,000 votes were cast online for these personalities, which will greet tens of millions of passengers to the Mile High City each year."
In the next few weeks, Christiansen and Roach will attend a recording session to replace the current voices. Earlier in February, the airport had narrowed down the choices to 10 local celebrities. But Christiansen and Roach ended up beating all of them. What do you think? Are you happy with the new voices for the DIA train? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
