Sponsored by Meow Wolf, Temple Tantrum Festival is ready to throw the craziest block party to hit Denver streets!

But before the art-centric block party can come to the River North Art District, Denver artist Lewis Neeff needs your help. His hope is that through a crowdfunding campaign, he'll be able to bring his vision of Temple Tantrum to life and offer an "audacious smorgasbord of full sensory experiences" to the city of Denver. Neeff's campaign is raising $10,000 for the Temple Tantrum Festival through presale tickets, along with some sweet swag if you buy them early -- including posters, mixtape downloads, and more! Check out the crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo.com. Donations will contribute to the festival's production and creative talent. The "experimental festival" will have 20 acts spread across two stages as well as stand-up comics, visual artists, food trucks, and an assortment of beer and wine, a costume party, and drag-queen wrestling! (Yes, you read that correctly.) It'll be, according to a statement, "one part music festival, one part alternative arts festival, one part comedy festival, one part costumed extravaganza." So ... it's pretty safe to say that this festival will have just about everything. Temple Tantrum will be held at the block around Temple Arts Center, from September 1-2.
