Denver's Summit Music Hall, along with the Marquis Theater, will undergo major renovations this summer, causing both to be closed temporarily.

After acquiring Summit Music Hall back in February, Live Nation has announced that they will temporarily close the space for the summer in order to make some much-needed renovations. The renovations will increase the capacity from 1,100 to 1,350 as well as improve the sound system, upgrade and expand restrooms and sight lines from the balcony, upgrade the artist dressing rooms, and improve the overall aesthetic and cosmetic details to the entire building. Summit will be closed between June 21 and September 6, with concerts to be immediately held after it reopens. The adjacent Marquis Theater will undergo similar renovations and be closed to the public from July 2 to August 12, with the Marquis Pizza remaining open during construction.
