New Year's Eve on the Rocks will no longer be held at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Instead, it will be at its backup venue, Magness Arena in Denver.

On Friday, December 22, it was announced on Facebook that New Year's Eve on the Rocks would be changing its venue due to the potential snowfall and cold temperatures. The concert will now be held at the event's backup venue, Magness Arena on Denver University's campus. In addition to the change in venue, the show has extended its hours to 1:30 a.m. now that they won't have to follow Red Rocks' curfew.
