The Dairy Block in Lower Downtown is getting a bit of an upgrade, with six new restaurants, bars, and shops.
The Dairy Block has become one of the trendiest corners in Lower Downtown, and it's about to get even bigger with the recent announcement of six new retailers opening up shop. For those unfamiliar with the Dairy Block, it's nestled between 18th and 19th Streets (near Blake and Wazee Streets) and is being called "Denver's first pedestrian alleyway." It's essentially an immersive alley, or "micro-district," and is home to the Maven Hotel, a flower shop, and a few restaurants and bars, among others. Seriously, no matter where you look in the alleyway, there's bound to be something that catches your eye. Take a look above and you'll see old milk bottles functioning as lights. On the ground below, you'll gain new insight in the form of inspirational and funny quotes etched into the street (where else will you learn how to navigate this crazy thing we call life?). Free Market -- A retail gallery
Berkeley Supply -- A men's-wear store
Foraged -- A restaurant
Eagle Company -- An accessory boutique
Will Leather Goods -- A shop with artisan leather goods
