Meow Wolf has its sights set on Denver for a permanent installation that's set to open in 2020.

By now, everyone has visited, or at least heard of, Meow Wolf's Santa Fe exhibit -- the art exhibit that has taken the nation by storm for the last few years. And if you haven't, we've got you covered: Here's everything you need to know! We also talked about it briefly when we visited their installation at Life Is Beautiful. [gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="30207,30209"] If you were hoping to visit the exhibit in Santa Fe but don't really have the time to make the journey, don't worry because things are about to get a lot closer to home. Come 2020, Denver will be opening a new permanent exhibit that's THREE TIMES the size of the famous Santa Fe exhibition -- it'll be 70 feet tall and 90,000 square feet with 60,000 square feet of "immersive art experience." Construction is set to start later this year. It'll be located at I-25 and Colfax, just south of Elitch Gardens. (Courtesy of Albuquerque Journal)[/caption] Anthony Guida, Design Director for Meow Wolf, said, "We chose the site because it's funky, bizarre, and an opportunity for low impact urban infill. What better way to use the dynamic space between a bunch of viaducts than to build an unbelievable Meow Wolf experience?" Even though fans will have to wait until 2020 to see the new exhibit, there are tickets available now, but hurry because they're going fast:
  • Lifetime Pass -- $10,000
  • Opening Gala Tickets -- $1,000
  • First Week Tickets -- $50
  • Early Bird General Admission -- $25
