Bring your pup along for a bite and drink at these four dog-friendly bars in Denver.

Unfortunately, we can't bring our furry friends with us everywhere we go. Something about city regulations ... blah, blah, blah. Not to mention, there's a tremendous amount of guilt that trickles in when you do have to leave your pup at home and they're looking up at you as if they'll never see you again. It's heartbreaking, and the decision to leave becomes that much harder.

Luckily for you (and your pup), we've found four of the best dog-friendly bars in the Denver metro area!

Denver Beer Co.

At Denver Beer Company, dogs are allowed both inside and outside, just make sure they're on a leash at all times. Your pup can even sample a "Dog Beerscuit," which is made from the spent grain during the brewing process. With their wide variety of ales and lagers, it's the perfect place to spend a warm summer afternoon and socialize with other dog-lovers.

Bring Fido to Renegade Brewing Company and enjoy some of the best craft beer in Colorado after a nice walk along the Arts District on Santa Fe. Though, keep in mind that our four-legged friends are only allowed on the brewery's patio, not inside. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, too.

Located off Broadway, Banded Oak Brewing Company has plenty of space for you and your pup to walk around, take in the sights, enjoy some great beer, and much more. And most Saturdays, a food truck stops by so you can wine and dine while your dog relaxes at your side.

Great Divide Brewing Co.

With two locations -- the Ballpark and RiNo -- there's more room for you and your dog. Sip on a classic stout or sour ale and enjoy a tasty treat from one of the many food trucks that stop by throughout business hours. Just make sure you share some with your furry friend!
