When you eat at one of the participating 230 restaurants on April 26, 25 percent of your check will go towards the Colorado-based nonprofit Project Angel Heart.

Dining Out for Life in Denver and Boulder is an annual fundraising event to help support Project Angel Heart, a nonprofit that prepares and delivers free meals to those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. And on Thursday, April 26, a percentage of your breakfast, lunch, or dinner check will be donated to help the cause. All you've got to do is "dine out and do good!"
This year marks the 24th annual Dining Out for Life and it's expected that the participating restaurants and breweries will raise roughly $300,000 during the one-day event. Though, it could end up being higher than that since some business will be donating 25 percent from their bar sales. So you'll be able to do even more good simply by ordering a drink from their beer and cocktail menu! Some of our favorites on the list include Hapa Sushi, 1515 Restaurant, Tacos Tequila Whiskey, Jax Fish House, and many more! You can view the full list of restaurants here. And as if donating wasn't incentive enough, guests can enter into a drawing to win a $2,500 King Soopers gift card! There are three modes of entry:
  1. Fill out an entry envelope at a participating Dining Out for Life restaurant
  2. Text "meals" to 50155
  3. Enter on the website
*The entry period ends on May 31. So if you didn't have breakfast, lunch, or dinner plans on Thursday, we highly encourage you to make some! 'Cause, c'mon, there are really no excuses for not dining out, especially when it will help benefit so many people in need. It's a no-brainer! What do you think? Will you be stopping by one of the many restaurants and breweries to support Project Angel Heart's Dining Out for Life fundraiser? Let us know in the comments below, and we'll see you there!
