When it comes down to the best airports in the U.S., DIA ranks supreme. And the airport doesn't fare too bad among the world's best either, ranking 29th worldwide.

Skytrax World Airport Awards has released the winners for its annual "Best Airport Awards" list and Denver International Airport has taken the top spot among U.S. airports, No. 29 worldwide. Among North American airports, Denver fell behind Vancouver, British Columbia, to take the second place spot. The winners are determined by millions of airport passenger surveys and the awards have become known as the "Oscars of the aviation industry." So, basically, it's a big deal! Like a really big deal.
For the sixth year in a row, Singapore Changi clinched the title of the best airport in the world. "To be voted the World's Best Airport for the sixth consecutive year is a fabulous achievement for Changi Airport, and this award yet again demonstrates the airport's popularity with international travelers," said Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax in a statement.
