The annual Five Points Jazz Festival is BACK for more jazz, bop, and swing! And we've got the full musical lineup for this year's festivities!

Once known as the Harlem of the West, the Five Points neighborhood was home to several jazz clubs, which saw legends such as Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk, among others, grace their stages. And to honor such a treasured past, the Five Point Jazz Festival brings together that original New Orleans sound, R&B and funk, blues, soul, and much more! This free festival comes to the historic neighborhood on Saturday, May 19. It will feature more than 45 bands on 10 stages all day long. Some of the more notable bands include the Hazel Miller Band, Crescent City Connection, Gumbo le Funque, and dozens more. A parade along Welton Street will kick off the festivities at 11 a.m. and will feature grand marshals Wende Harston and Jim "Daddio" Walker. A map of the festival grounds is available HERE.
