Is there a better way to spend your Saturday night than watching sexy firefighters strut their stuff on a catwalk? (Answer: there isn't.)

If you had plans this Saturday, May 12, cancel them. Because there are tryouts being held for the 2019 Colorado Firefighter Calendar, which means watching firefighters from around the state heat up the runway as they compete for a page in next year's calendar. And honestly, is there anything else you'd rather be doing now that you know this amazing event exists? Yeah, we thought so ... All of the proceeds will go towards the Burn Center and Burn Camps Program at Children's Hospital Colorado. So, you know, do it for the kids. Founded in 2011, the Colorado Firefighter Calendar was created to "do more for burn survivors in the community and raise fire safety awareness," according to the website.
"These men and women represent one of the noblest professions and the calendar serves as a tribute to firefighters and the people they serve."
The tryouts on Saturday take place at the EXDO Event Center in Denver, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. (6 p.m. for VIP guests) and the show kicking off at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $35 to $125, depending on how close to the stage you'd like to be. You can purchase them online HERE. There are also opportunities for VIP tickets, which not only get you through the doors an hour and a half earlier than everyone else, but you also get two signature drinks, an exclusive swag bag, and a meet-and-greet opportunity with firefighters, alumni, and celebrity emcees and judges. The photoshoot for the calendar will take place in June. For more information on the upcoming tryouts, please visit the Colorado Firefighter Calendar website. What do you think?
