On Saturday, March 17, the Children's Festival of Stories is coming to Denver. Over 30 children's book authors and illustrators will be in attendance for this FREE festival.
Denver Arts & Venues is partnering with Second Star to the Right Children's Books to bring a celebration of children's literature to life for readers of all ages across the city of Denver. The Children's Festival of Stories will have everything from story-times to book-signings, in addition to more than 30 children's authors, illustrators, and performers. While there are many literature events for adults, there aren't many for younger readers. Seeing this, Second Star to the Right Children's Books created this free festival with three main goals in mind: educational opportunties, representation of diversity in stories, and accessibility and inclusivity.
