RiNo is continuing to grow into a highly desirable neighborhood with the addition of a massive, state-of-the-art music venue called The Mission Ballroom.

Just how massive is this new music venue? 60,000 square feet! That's big enough to be able to hold anywhere from 2,200 to 3,950 guests at a single time! And if you thought that was impressive, wait till you hear this! The Mission Ballroom will feature state-of-the-art technology, including sound and lights, along with a dance floor, full-service bars, and a moveable stage. Seriously, there's nothing that this new music venue won't have! AEG Presents Rocky Mountains is working with Westfield Co. to build the new venue. AEG Presents Rocky Mountains currently operates the Bluebird Theater, Gothic Theatre, Ogden Theatre, 1STBANK Center, and Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre. "We blended the ballroom experience on the floor with a tiered-riser configuration similar to Red Rocks. Beyond offering incredible sight lines, this design creates the finest sonic experience that Colorado concertgoers expect and deserve."
The location's easy access to the light rail and downtown makes it the ideal spot for the music venue. "Our entire AEG Presents Rocky Mountain team spent the last 11 years searching for the perfect location and the right design to build one of the finest venues this town has ever seen," said Chuck Morris, CEO of AEG Presents Rocky Mountains. There are also plans to include underground parking, bike parking, and a shared-ride pickup area.
In addition to the concert venue, a 14-acre mixed-use project is being developed between 40th and 43rd streets along Brighton Blvd. called North Wynkoop. The project will include office and retail space, restaurants, bars, hotels, and more in a 90,000-square-foot building. "North Wynkoop will be Denver's new front door," Kevin McClintock, Westfield senior partner, said in the following video about the new developments.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYiUMyk6bA4 What are your thoughts on the new music venue and mixed-use space being developed in RiNo?
