Wine Enthusiast Magazine has released its list of "America's 100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2018," and two Denver restaurants made the cut.

Every year, Wine Enthusiast Magazine releases its list of the 100 best wine restaurants in the country. And this year is no different. Released on June 12, two Denver restaurants have been ranked in the magazine's 2018 list -- Barolo Grill and Tavernetta.

Barolo Grill

[gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="39141,39140"] Located at 3030 E. 6th Ave., Barolo Grill is a restaurant that "prides itself on serving authentic northern Italian food while maintaining a comfortable, elegant ambiance," according to its website. In order to deliver the best experience possible, Owner and Wine Director Ryan FletterĀ and Executive Chef Darrel Truett take annual trips to Italy, sourcing from various wine producers to fill their 14,000-bottle wine cellar. Barolo Grill also sources its ingredients from local farms and artisans. View Barolo Grill's full menu.

Tavernetta

[gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="39139,39138"] While Tavernetta is relatively new, it's already making a name for itself. Opened by the same folks that brought us Frasca Food & Wine in Boulder, Tavernetta can be found in the Union Station neighborhood at 1889 16th St. And, similar to Barolo Grill, its main focus is delivering authentic Italian and genuine hospitality. While there are plenty of Italian options featured on its menu, Tavernetta also offers a wide selection of "French bubbles," according to its website. View Tavernetta's full menu.
