Ski season is drawing closer and closer, Colorado. So make sure you're ready to hit the slopes by purchasing your tickets for the Winter Park Express Train.

It's yet another sign that ski season is almost here in Colorado (the first being the recent snowfall in the Rockies): Tickets for the ski train that runs from Union Station to Winter Park Ski Resort are now available.

And the best part: It'll be making more trips this year. So that means more opportunities for you to get your shred on this season. And honestly, does it get any better than that? (We think not.)

Fares start at $29 (each way). Tickets can be booked online

The train will run each Saturday and Sunday, as well as the first two Fridays of each month -- January 4 and 11, February 1 and 8, and March 1 and 8. It opens on Friday, January 4, 2019, and closes on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

It will leave Union Station each weekend day at 7 a.m., with passengers arriving at the resort by 9 a.m. Then they'll board the same train for their return at 4:30 p.m., arriving back in Denver by 6:40 p.m.

For more information on the Winter Park Express Train, visit the resort's website.
