CandyStore.com has released the most popular Valentine's Day candy by state, and for Maryland, apparently, we're really big fans of M&M's. So if you're looking to get your valentine something special this year, maybe consider a big 'ol bag of M&M's! After all, there's no better way to declare your undying love for someone than with delicious and colorful chocolate-covered candy.
Conversation hearts ranked as the second most popular in Maryland. And of course, it doesn't come as a surprise that a heart-shaped box of chocolates came in third place on CandyStore's list because, come on, who doesn't like chocolate, especially on Valentine's Day?
Over the years, boxes of chocolate always came in first place for many states, but, for whatever reason, conversation hearts has dethroned the classic Valentine's Day candy this year.
