Combine sun, fun, and adult bevvies on the Potomac Paddle Pub. Reserve it all or join a group tour for the best time to be had on the water.

What is the Potomac Paddle Pub?

Imagine the little paddle boats in the Tidal Basin. Now stretch those out and picture one that can accommodate 10 bicycle seat-barstools along a sleek mahogany bar. Add a canopy to provide a little shade and voila, you've got a paddle pub.

Who can book the Potomac Paddle Pub?

Anyone who can fit into a life jacket can get a spot on the paddle boat. You can join an existing tour or book the entire boat for your own group. Check out their ticketing calendar here.

For the 2019 season, individual tickets are only available during the week. Adults pay $45 per person, and children under 12 cost $25 per person. Whole boat rentals are $500 during the week and $625 on the weekends. Not bad, when you consider the boat can fit up to 16 people!

I don't know about you, but I think this sounds like a great corporate retreat or a fun way to kick off a bachelorette party in Georgetown!

Where does the Potomac Paddle Pub go?

The tour starts from the Georgetown waterfront (exact directions will be sent to you upon booking) and goes up and down the Potomac River. There is one midpoint stop at the Columbia Island Marina.

What happens when I don't want to pedal anymore?

Don't worry if you run out of pedalers; the Paddle Pub is equipped with a motor in case of a mutiny. Pedal or just watch, it's totally up to you!

How long is a trip?

Each trip is 1.5 hours long. You'll have one potty break in the middle, so make sure you hit the restroom before you leave if you plan on drinking!

cheers, beers
