The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is this Saturday, May 19, and there are several parties in Colorado to celebrate the occasion.

We're getting closer and closer to the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And, in case you were unaware, the wedding will be broadcasted on live television across all major networks at 5 a.m. Yes, 5 a.m., so make sure you've got your alarms set! But, if you're like us and would rather not get up that early to watch a wedding (albeit a glamorous one) across the pond, you're in luck because you won't have to. All throughout Colorado, bars and other establishments are hosting viewing parties and celebrations to commemorate the big day – including reruns of the ceremony!

Watch Party with Sense of Security

Where: Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens, Denver When: 8 to 11 a.m. Watch a rebroadcast of the ceremony on all the televisions throughout the inn as you enjoy tea and crumpets, among other sweet treats. And a cake, similar to the one that will be served at the Royal Wedding reception, will be served to guests with a complimentary champagne toast as the couple has their first kiss as man and wife. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion, so come in your best outfits and participate in a contest for the fanciest headdress, take a souvenir picture with life-sized cutouts of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and so much more. Call 303-669-3113 to purchase tickets ($60). All profits will go toward Sense of Security, a nonprofit organization that helps Coloradans fighting breast cancer.

Royal Wedding Tea Party

When: 3:30 to 5 p.m. Where: Garden of the Gods Market and Cafe, Colorado Springs Visit the Garden of the Gods' cafe for a "Colorado salute" to the Royal Couple. Sip on tea (brewed by The Queen's TEApothecary of Colorado Springs) and enjoy sweet and savory treats fit for a king. Or, in this case, a prince. There will even be prizes awarded to the best dressed, so come ready to impress! Call 719-471-2799 for reservations. Tickets cost $35 per person.
There are also several movie theaters across Colorado that will be rebroadcasting the wedding at 10 a.m. on Saturday, including Cinemark-Fort Collins, Century Boulder, AMC Westminster Promenade 24, AMC Highlands Ranch 24, and Tinseltown Colorado Springs.
