OCN Rigs: Kelly Lund's Toyota Tundra Northern Lite Camper Build

Toyota began their Tundra production for the U.S. back in 2000. Again, Toyota was no stranger to truck production and had been producing the T100 since the early 90’s. As stated in a previous video, Toyota trucks have proven to be bulletproof, as long as they don’t rust out. They’re not flashy or quick, but they just keep going. Today we’re showing you Kelly Lund’s 2013 Tundra. Kelly has had the truck for a few years now, and at the time of purchase it was a true work truck spec with steel wheels and highway tires. Kelly quickly got to work on it, modifying it with better suspension, wheels, tires, a camper shell, drawer system in the bed, a rack and rooftop tent. He then ventured all the way up to Alaska with it. After that, the truck didn’t see much action as he was building out his 4Runner. That is until about a year ago, Kelly found the camper of his dreams and purchased a 2003 Northern Lite 6-10. He quickly got to work remodeling it both inside and out with the help of a local Denver adventure vehicle outfit called Featherbuilt. For the truck to support the camper, he beefed up the suspension, went with a larger tire, and a bit larger wheel. Kelly is a salt of the earth dude. It’s been fun getting to follow this project because I knew how passionate he was about building out a truck camper of his own. Enjoy the grand tour of this Toyota Tundra Camper build.
